Where the heck is Jack's Country Store
located?
Jack's Country Store is located in Ocean Park, Washington. Follow
the Columbia River to Pacific Ocean, then go north up the North Beach peninsula.
Jack's is located on the east side of the four-way stop in town. (You can't
miss us. If you did, well you weren't looking at all....)
What is the normal shipping time
for my order?
Most orders are shipped the next business day. All of our packages
are routed through Portland, Oregon terminals (for Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS
carriers). Customers in the Portland-Metro and surrounding areas will
most likely receive their packages the next business day. Washington,
Idaho, and Northern California residents are usually delivered in
2-3 business days. Mountain States, Southern California, and Southwestern
states usually take 3-4 days. Midwest states usually take 3-5 days.
Folks on the East Coast usually see their packages within 7 business days.
Alaska, Hawaii, and International customers: delivery time is dependent
on the shipping method chosen at check out.
For Express Shipments, please keep in mind that your order must be received
no later than 9am (Monday-Friday) for shipment that day. Due to our
location, couriers have a 3 hour drive to Portland to make sure your package
gets on the next plane! For urgent requests, please give us a call at (toll-free)
888-665-4989, and we will do our best to assist you.
Backordered/Delayed Shipping
on items
We strive to keep all of our merchandise in stock at all times, but we do
run out occasionally. We will notify you immediately of any unexpected
delays or backorders with your order. We try to keep our website as
up to date as possible with estimated shipping times, if needed. Please
note that we are truly an old-fashioned mercantile, and we do not keep electronic
inventory of our selection of 220,000 different products and may not know
at the time of your order the exact inventory levels of the products.
What are your business hours?
Our store is open from 7am to 9pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and 7am to
8pm (Labor Day to Memorial Day) Pacific. Our shipping department is

We close only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Of course. We understand that some folks just don't like to use those
"new fangled" computers.

We do our part
to prevent identity theft.
Our secure website encrypts any sensitive information you provide when
placing your order. The security code (SSN) on the back of your card verifies
that you have the card with you at the time of the order. Once the information
reaches our shipping department, it is secured with the most effective measures
around.
We do not sell/loan/rent or in any other means provide your information
to anyone else. We do not send out solicitations or junk mail.
We do, however, mail our store catalog out twice a year. If you wish
to not receive our catalog, please let us know.

Since 1885, Jack's Country
Store has been providing peninsula residents with the necessities for their
home or cabin. Our website allows us to open our doors to customers
around the world with our selection of over 220,000 different items ranging
from fresh bakery mixes and cookware, Aladdin kerosene lamps, electric meat

He may have been a decorated World War II fighter pilot, timber cruiser
for Weyerhauser, and a Yale student, but Jack will be best remembered for
his contribution to the Ocean Park community and for his part in making

CATALOG SHOPPING QUESTIONS:
I get an error telling me I need a cookie.
In order to use this online Catalog, you need to have your cookies enabled
for the system to store your order information long enough to complete the
process. We do not use this information to sell a list to anyone for
any reason, and will not contact you unless it concerns your order.
I don't see my Shopping Cart Items.
As you add each item to your shopping cart, a red message appears
at the top of your screen, confirming either that an item was successfully
added, or that you need to choose a quantity or color or some other item
attribute. It will tell you that the item was successfully added if
all conditions were met. After that, you need to click on checkout
to see what items you have ready to purchase.
I don't want to look
through 15 screens of products to find the item I want.
Most categories will display all the items first, but near the upper
right section of the screen is a Refine Choices pull down menu. You
can choose which of the sub categories you want to look at, or you can choose
Find. If you just want to look at items that contain one word, like
horse, use the Find function. If you want to look at very specific
items, choose the Advanced Search.
Advanced Search Suggestions.
To use the Advanced Search, first choose how you want to search,
any words will search for any of the words you enter, either as one or as
a group; Exact Phrase will try to meet your search words exactly,
not counting the capital letters; All words will try to search using
all the words. No matter which search you choose, if the words are
not part of the item name or short description, the search may not find
what you are looking for. It is better to search for "Admiral" than
it is to search for "World War II Admiral Perry"
Why can't I see the
continue button during checkout?
When you are entering in your shipping preferences, the continue
button will not appear at the bottom of the screen until you have chosen
a Shipper and a Shipping Method. Both are required, even
if you want the FedEx Ground shipping.
Why was my credit card declined?
Your credit card number may still be valid, but if you enter the
card number with any dashes or spaces, then the system does not know how
to deal with the number. It will continue to return to the same screen
over and over until the number is correct.
What is the credit card security code?
Your credit card security code is located on the back of your credit
card near the signature line and usually contains 3 or 4 digits. It
is used to verify that you have the credit card in your possession when
you place the order.
Why can't I add more items to my shopping cart?
If you are not on the pages of the catalog where the items are displayed,
then you can not add items to your shopping cart. Just click on a
category in the left column to get to a section of the catalog where you
can choose a new item to add. Then just click on Add to Cart below
the item you wish to add. Items can not be added while you are still
in the shopping cart.
How do I use the wish list?
After you add an item to your shopping cart, click on Checkout near
the upper right of the screen. Now you may see two options on each
item. Remove the item, or save cart. If you click on save cart,
it will add the item to your wish list, but you will either need to login
as a returning customer, or create a new customer profile to get to the
next screen. Then the system will save your wish list until you come
back and either empty it out one item at a time, or make each item active
in your shopping cart item by clicking on buy now.
